A dedicated and passionate educator, Dr. Scott has taught over 50 courses across all levels, consistently enriching student learning through innovative, hands-on experiences in both laboratory and field settings. His excellence has been recognized with the Julian Szeicz Award for Excellence in Teaching and outstanding student feedback.
Dr. Scott’s mentorship record is equally remarkable, having supervised more than 40 graduate and undergraduate students, many of whom have co-authored publications and received prestigious awards. His research in soil and ecosystem biogeochemistry, particularly in the Arctic, has resulted in 82 peer-reviewed publications in leading journals.
