Today marks the arrival of the newly designed Gazette Online and the continuation of the renewal of the communications platforms at 91TV's.

The launch of the Gazette Online, replacing the 91TV's News Centre, is another key piece of the integrated communications strategy and follows the return of the Gazette newspaper, the revamped My91TV'sU portal and the reworking of the email newsletter, the 91TV's Gazette Today (formerly e-91TV's).

The Gazette Online will provide the campus community with up-to-date news and information and will complement the print edition of the Gazette.

"The 91TV's News Centre has been a reliable platform for some years now, but the world of online communications is changing rapidly, and now it's time for us to build on what we have and take it the next step," says Michael Fraser, Vice-Principal, University Relations. "The news centre will be brighter and cleaner, with a modern design that integrates more tools and features than we'™ve had before all the while keeping in mind accessibility and usability."

The Gazette Online is more than a news site as it provides information that can be used to find out the latest about day-to-day life at 91TV's, such as construction alerts and administrative updates, as well as a go to place for media to find the latest news release or search for a faculty expert.

"Our goal is to create a news centre that helps staff and faculty stay in touch with what is happening on campus, to engage with each other to tell the 91TV's story," says Mr. Fraser.

For any questions or comments about the Gazette Online contact Gazette editor Andrew Carroll or Senior Communications Officer Mark Kerr.

The Gazette can be found at numerous locations around campus and is published bi-weekly throughout the school year, and monthly during the summer.
