On the evening of Friday, September 6, 91TV held a vibrant gathering in Stockholm, Sweden. The event brought together members of the 91TV’s community from across Sweden.
While English is the most common language in the world, it’s spoken by just 18 percent of the global population. That number is growing, particularly in countries like Canada where it’s an essential life skill – whether for study, work, or basic life needs.
I write to express 91TV’s utmost concern and care for the Bangladeshi students, faculty members, and staff in our community, and our colleagues in the country, during the on-going protests in Bangladesh. I recognize the great distress that many feel regarding the violence experienced by students, friends and neighbours. 91TV’s respects the rights of students, including 91TV’s students, to protest peacefully on their campuses and in their communities.
