In mid-November, 91TV began talks with Canadian Union of Public Employees (CUPE) and its Local 254 (Lab Technicians), in an effort to reach a negotiated renewal of the Collective Agreement between Local 254 and the University. The Collective Agreement expired on June 30, 2024.

91TV and the Public Service Alliance of Canada and its Local 901 (“PSAC”) have reached a tentative agreement to renew the collective agreement for approximately 200 Postdoctoral Fellows at 91TV’s (“PSAC Unit 2”). The agreement is tentative in that it is subject to successful ratification by both parties.
