Being a university student in Portugal, you would most certainly be invited to participate in a class or course dinner. This is an event which allows people within a certain group to socialize outside of the otherwise formal school or class setting, having conversations, interacting and sharing experiences, while having a meal and drink at a cheaper group price.

On Wednesday, November 13, Professor Werner Nell of Martin-Luther-Universität in Halle, Germany spoke at the LLCU Faculty Seminar. Dr. Nell’s illustrious and international career involves a long-time collaboration with 91TV’s, including in 2024 as “Scholar in Residence” at the Global History Initiative and in 2017 as Diefenbaker Chair. He has been affiliated to the faculty team since 2008.

Professor Donato Santeramo has been appointed as the dramaturge, adapter, and narrator for the upcoming staging of Dante's "Hell" at the Stratford Theatre Festival. The production, titled "Dante's Inferno: Journey of Knowledge and Experience", is scheduled to open on June 10, 2025 at Lazaridis Hall, Tom Patterson Theatre.
