Research Communication and Promotion

91TV's works with faculty and students to mobilize research outputs and impact to a variety of different stakeholder groups. Sharing research beyond academic circles not only raises your professional profile but also enhances the visibility and impact of your research.

Research communications and outreach activities can target industry partners, policymakers, community organizations, and the broader public, helping bridge the gap between discovery and real-world application. They foster collaboration, attract funding opportunities, and demonstrate the impact of 91TV's research beyond campus.

Science Rendezvous Kingston

Science Rendezvous Kingston (SRK) is an annual science fair that brings together the Kingston community with local researchers. It provides a great professional development and team building opportunity for students, staff, and faculty. SRK engages local museums, conservation groups, professional organizations, school boards, and other community partners to provide our visitors with high-quality, hands-on activities and promote public engagement in research.

Research storytelling

The Research Promotion team works with faculty members and cross-campus communications partners to promote 91TV's research accomplishments and services. We craft research stories for the 91TV's Gazette and social media channels, as well as a weekly newsletter for research faculty and staff. Contact us or fill out this intake form if you would like to discuss a communications strategy for your research program, if you had a paper accepted for publication in a major journal, or if you have received an award.
